A very nice round. Few meters of altitude. Ideal for people who have a bit of knees but still want to do an easy tour. The few small spots where it gets bumpy, you just have to take it slow. Many Thanks.

Arrival and departure by public transport

Arriving at the Heuberghaus, we continued on the Rennsteig to the lookout tower on the Spießberg. After we had enjoyed the view over the Thuringian Forest, we continued past the Spießberghsau and back to the Heuberghaus. Once there, we spent the afternoon with musical accompaniment.
