"The so-called Kaiserbahnhof in Brühl-Kierberg is one of the most beautiful reception buildings in Germany. It was built in 1877 at the end of the Kaiserstraße leading up from downtown Brühl in a small park. It owes its particularly elaborate design to Kaiser Wilhelm I, to whom the train station as a stopover The autumn maneuvers were used for his annual visits to the Eifel.
