Dill River in Ehringshausen

Highlight • River

The Dillradweg crosses the Dill at this point. In most places, the cycle path in the villages runs partly on the public road network. Fortunately, this section is very short in Ehringshausen.

May 15, 2022,Radweg entlang der Dill – Dill bei Asslar Runde von Edingen
Picked out a nice tour again today. Parked near Edingen/Sinn train station and off we went. We really enjoyed the first third of the tour. Lots of views...through fields and meadows...followed a railway line and found lots of nice things along the way. The second third wasn't that great. kilometers along the side of an expressway. Although its own bike …

3 cycle paths in one go.
1 LahntalRW / 2 Ulm / 3 DillRW.
Nice ride with the e-bikes.
...
We didn't like the LahntalRW. Too much on the busy B49 2 big diversions on the 20km from Wetzlar to Biskirchen.
The UlmtalRW was a dream. Old railway line nicely converted into a RW. We went from Biskirchen to Holzhausen. …

This tour begins with the most beautiful section. In contrast to the nearby Kerkerbachtal, the path through the Ulmtal runs almost exclusively on the former railway line. The path is paved and in top condition A***. It doesn't get any better than that. The railway line ends in Beilstein. From there there is a signposted route through the forest to …

Today's tour was once again planned by @B53 . The meeting place for this was the train station in Aumenau. So for me the tour started with the drive there. Bernd was already waiting there and @F71 also arrived on time. We went to Stockhausen by train. From there we made our way to the Ulmtalradweg, which was initially closed …

At @B53's suggestion, the three of us rode @Hans-Peter from Stockhausen on the Ulmtalradweg to Holzhausen today. From there we crossed over to Katzenfurt in the Dilltal. On the Dillradweg we went to the confluence of the Dill and the Lahn. After a stop for lunch and a subsequent visit to the cathedral, we rode on the Lahn cycle path, …

Nice tour with everything you can have, between 15 degrees and 26 degrees, sun and rain, hard uphill and cool downhill 😎😩🤪🚴‍♀️🚴🏼‍♂️

Nice tour, with passages where a mountain bike would be better.
In front of Beilstein in the forest I pushed the bike down the steep hill!
