Haus Pluderbusch

Highlight • Historical Site

The listed building was initially built as a residential building in 1873 and was later run as the "Haus Pluderbusch" hotel.
In the garden of the house there is a miniature model of the Helmstedt spring house.

Ruins on Burgberg

Highlight • Historical Site

This ruin is part of the history of the church in Helmstedt. The use was probably a farm as a branch of the monastery

View of Quellenhofteich

Highlight • Lake

Helmstedt has a lot to offer, including some water landscapes in the city area!
The hike starts at the Maschstadion and leads straight to the Hafermühlenteich. A few steps further you can see the Sternberger pond which can shine with a restaurant with an outside raft. On the way to Ludgerieteich you can do sports in the playground for seniors.
When you arrive at the Ludgerie pond, you miss the floating duck house that is currently in repair. Then we continue to the straw mill pond which shows us the way through the beautiful forest to Brunnental. There we visit the Quellenhof pond and the Clarabad pond.
There are also many interesting sights that are worth discovering in the Brunnental.
We continue past the sculpture park into the forest back towards Helmstedter SV and to the "old bathing pond" (Birkerteich) back to the starting point.

A dream... the snow covers the branches and twigs, you walk carefully on the path.
You actually immerse yourself in a fairytale world because even a few rays of sunshine provide a soft light.
Quack...say the ducks, and the water splashes.
In the park at the theater you can already read the “stone-making” book.
"The lake has acquired a skin..."
