Welcome to the Jüterbog wilderness area!

The area was used militarily for over 150 years. What remained was a huge contiguous area that is uninhabited and without roads. Today it is under nature protection and offers a habitat for rare species such as wolves, Bechstein's bats and hoopoes.
You can experience our wilderness area here by following the marked hiking trails. They are each marked with short robinia posts on the left and right. You can also find the tours here in our channel.

The area has been declared a nature reserve by the state of Brandenburg. There is a path requirement in accordance with the nature reserve ordinance:

In addition, the area is under European protection as a flora fauna habitat area and (SPA) bird sanctuary. The Brandenburg Natural Landscape Foundation owns a large part of the area and protects it permanently for wilderness development.
