Quadenschönfeld Manor House

The manor house was built around 1800 on behalf of Friedrich von Warburg, who had owned Quadenschönfeld since 1774. The von Warburg family held the estate until 1877. In 1883, the district administrator Count Arthur von Bernstorff came into possession of the estate, and it remained in his family until the expropriation in 1945 was increased, among other things, and maintained its classicist character. A coat of arms on the representative manor house shows the date of completion in 1898. After the von Bernstorff family fled in 1945, apartments were built in the manor house; After initial renovation work in the 1990s - the manor house was to be converted into a castle hotel - the work came to a standstill. In March 2003, two businessmen bought the manor house who wanted to convert it into a company headquarters, but nothing came of these plans either.
