Well, I have to say that you definitely have to visit this place at least once. In addition to the beautiful view, there are also numerous other things to do such as a playground, a chair lift, etc.

March 5, 2022,Wanderung zur Wasserscheide Weser-Elbe "Hohe Tür" (HWN 043), Hassenstein (HWN 158), Stöberhai (HWN 159), Sonderst. Bhf. Stöberhai (HWN BAU03), Stephanshütte (HWN 161), Sonderst. Ravensberg Baude (HWN BAU02), Schutzhütte Phillippsgruß (HWN 220)
A highly recommended hike with many highlights! The contrast between historic sites like Stöberhai and Hohe Tür and cozy rest stops like Stephanshütte and Phillippsgruß is what makes this trail so appealing. The special stamps are a nice bonus—and with a bit of time, you can also take a culinary break.

There were a number of shelters and from the Hassensteinhütte there were fantastic views! It was a steady climb up to the Stöberhai lookout point! There is a restaurant at the top of the Ravensberg. Highly recommended! Decorated with great attention to detail and super friendly owners! Cake (homemade) and coffee were delicious. I was able to get a total …

Today we were out with @De Höchte again. It was a great and varied tour with wafts of fog, rain, the sun trying to break through the clouds and, surprisingly, distant views.

I can definitely recommend the tour in late autumn. The trees are everywhere in their most beautiful guise😍, simply beautiful! And when the wafts of fog come along, …

Despite the rain and thick fog, or perhaps because of it, this hike was beautiful. The bright autumn leaves 🍁🍂🍃 and the numerous mushrooms 🍄 are a nice contrast to the fog 🌫️ Nevertheless, we still had beautiful views, even as far as Kyffhäuser. Autumn is already beautiful 😍

What is the best way to use a Sunday in the best weather? With an extensive hiking tour through the Harz.

A few hundred meters after the start, there was already the first special stamp "200 years of Kneipp". Then we continued towards Kuckanstal. Fantastically beautiful and there was something to stamp here too, but only digitally.

Another great tour through the late summer Harz 🌞. I parked the car at a hiking parking lot near Steina and started from there... along a small drinking water reservoir and then up, shortly afterwards arriving at the first stamp - the Hohe Tür watershed (HWN 42). 🏞

Paths blocked by forest work - you know it. 😅 And so there was another 2km at kilometer 18.
A very nice, recommendable hiking tour with a bit of ambition. 😊

A very varied hike with great contrasts: historical landmarks like the Hohe Tür (High Door), quiet rest areas in the forest, and the historic Stöberhai (Stöberhai). The trails are largely natural and offer many beautiful moments to pause for a moment. Recommended for anyone who enjoys longer walks in the forest and wants to complete their Harz hiking badge.
