I became aware of the approx. 33-kilometer-long "Water.Experience.Erft" themed cycle path a while ago through a report on WDR and downloaded the gpx file from the Rhein-Erft district tourism information page (https ://rhein-erft-tourismus.de). It officially starts at the Gymnicher Mühle Nature Park Center (naturparkzentrum-gymnichermuehle.de/) near Kerpen and is well signposted.
