3/5 ⭐, the route goes north along forest paths to Wilhelmstein Castle and back to the starting point through the southern Wurmtal nature reserve with beautiful views of the Wurm. Most of the route runs along wide forest or field paths that do not offer much variety. Note: The bridge over the Wurm is closed.

Just 25 km from my front door lies this green wonderland between Kohlscheid, Herzogenrath, and Würselen.

And let me put it this way: If you expect only highways and businesses here, you're completely wrong :-)
The starting point is the Teuterhof limestone dump, where lime was once shoveled and today flora, fauna, and walkers coexist peacefully.
