Obereiper Mill

The Obereiper Mühle, a small hamlet in the municipality of Eitorf, is now a refugee shelter. Previously, it was a popular place for excursions with overnight accommodation. It is located on the lower reaches of the Wohmbach in the "Hüppelröttchen" forest area. The Obereiper Mühle was originally an oil and grain mill. One of the millstones, made of solid basalt, can still be found in the exposed brickwork.
