Beautiful Autal

Especially in spring, when the March beaker blossoms, the Autal is totally overcrowded, especially on the weekends.

Autal Waterfall

Highlight • Waterfall

It's best to visit when the snowdrops are in bloom. The Autal waterfall is not spectacular, but it is still impressive and you can relax wonderfully to the sound of the rushing water.

Moss-Covered Tufa Rocks and Springs

March 12, 2023,Wasserfall Autalbach – Tufffelsen und Tuffquellen Runde von Bad Überkingen
Probably overcrowded when the sun is shining, wonderful today If you don't want to go up to the waterfall, an easy tour even on wet days.

I saw a similar tour with Heidi Hurtig and since I've already been to Stuttgart and March cups (Leucojum vernum) don't occur that often in nature, I thought to myself, let's go. On the way I read the Altbach sign and had to smile. The two kind people Ömchen and Öpchen live there.
Even though it's only the middle of …

It needed something short and not too far away. So I simply walked along the Bad Überkingen forest and waterway to see the snowdrops in bloom. Enjoyed the sunshine, watched the flowers, and stretched my legs. A nice short walk.🌿🥾🤍

Forest and water trail in Bad Überkingen

There are four places that together form the municipality of Bad Überkingen: The main town itself and its sub-towns Hausen, Unterböhringen and Oberböhringen. They are all embedded in a fantastic cultural landscape, spread over 300 meters above sea level, blessed with a recognized healthy climate.

Wonderful autumn tour 🍁🍂🍃 in Bad Überkingen to the Autal waterfalls, which unfortunately were completely dried up at the top. The tree Mikado with watercourse was very nice, the tuff arcades with the moss-covered rocks and the great view from the Überkinger ski hut to the Hausener Wand.
Great round, really recommendable, not overcrowded even on the weekend 👍

...because it was so beautiful the weekend before last...during the week it's perfect for everyone who wants to have peace and quiet while looking at the March mugs.
This time I also went all the way up to the Autal waterfall - was very nice there!

March child meets March cup 😍.
After a hard week of work 🥵 we moved to the beautiful Swabian Alb to the Märzenbecher 😍 in the Autal today in the most beautiful sunshine 🌞. A birthday can hardly be more beautiful!

Many thanks to Lexie and Heidi Hurtig for the suggestion!

A beautiful walk above the valley floor with views of the Hausener Wand and Bad Überkingen.
On Sundays, during the blooming snowdrops, you're not alone there.
