Protestant Church Spirkelbach

In 1727 the first Reformed church was built in Spirkelbach. For cost reasons, the church administration not only saved on the tower, but also on a solid foundation and construction, so that the first church was replaced by a new one in 1789.
The turmoil of the French Revolution and the Napoleonic era prevented the construction of a church tower, which was not completed until 1836. The community had to bear the costs for this.
In 1818 the big unification festival took place for Reformed and Lutherans in the towns of Wilgartswiesen, Spirkelbach and Rinnthal.
