Kreuzkogel lookout tower

The control room, built in 1847, was given a wooden floor 130 years later. A total of 43 steps lead to the platform of the Kreuzkogelwarte, at an altitude of 496 meters.
The Kreuzkogelwarte is located in Kaindorf near Leibnitz. The ascent (from the Grottenhof Museum to the Kreuzkogel lookout point it is 2.5 km or approx. 30 minutes on foot) is rewarded with a wonderful view over southern Styria to Slovenia in good weather.
