Ajdovska Deklica (Heathen Maiden) Rock Face

The face of the Ajdovščina girl in the northern side of Prisojnik was formed by broken rocks. The most beautiful view of it is from Poštarski dom in Vršič. The story goes that it was a petrified buckwheat girl. When she lived, she was of a good and merciful heart; it led mountaineers and trucks through snowdrifts into the Trenta Valley. She was also a soybean who prophesied to newborns. Today we snake our way curve 🔄 by curve 🔄 up the Vrsic Pass. The pass connects the places in the Šoca Valley (that's where we are at the moment 😉) with Kranjska Gora in the north.
Even during the drive, the high mountain massifs with their white snow-covered peaks impress us 😍!
