Highlight • Mountain Hut

There are 5 stuga's here. 2 with a bunk bed (double width), 2 smaller ones but still plently of room to sleep on the floor and another one with a huge table which can also be used to sleep on the floor.

I did not and would not drink the water from the 'source' here, it smelled disgusting. The water from the lake is salty do we didn't use that either. 200 meters before arrival there was a very little stream with some clean & fresh water.

This border stone is still in use although the borders that are marked have changed. It should not be destroyed.

Nipstugan Cabin

Highlight • Mountain Hut

The second most beautiful stuga on the tour to Valkallen, we found. Simply furnished with great care. Attention, there is no water up here and must be brought from below beforehand. A bucket of luck is filled with rainwater from the gutter.
Please leave the hut clean, tidy and take your garbage with you so that it will be preserved for a long time

Drinking Water at Lidebro 103

Highlight • Rest Area

The owners of house 103 in Lidebro provide drinkwater for refilling bottles when at home.

Drinking Water Spring

Highlight • Rest Area

Here you will find water even if the campsite is closed. It is attached to the spring that provides the surrounding houses with water but there is just more water than needed which just flows out. So, take as much as you need.
