Today a little bit higher on the Veslfjellet (approx. 1750 m) from Gjendesheim (approx. 970 m).
You can continue along this route, called Besseggen, to Memurubu and then take the ferry back on the Gjende. Unfortunately, ferry traffic will not resume until June 11th, 2022.
