The northern beach on the elbow is also home to the northernmost point of Germany. A beautiful beach, where you can have peace and quiet.

There are several of these old groynes that are easy to see at low tide. From here you can see the Danish island of Römö well.

We cycled from List to the starting point of the tour. Due to the not so great weather, I only met a few walkers on the large Ellenbogen circuit. It was wonderful, so I could enjoy nature almost undisturbed.

Germany's northernmost point and the elbow of Sylt are a must-see if you're on the island.
Both are absolutely worth seeing! With luck, you might even spot seals here (unfortunately, we weren't).

Please note: Drivers are charged a €7 toll. In return, you can park for free in several parking lots. Absolutely fine!

The West Lighthouse is larger and can only be admired from a distance. Perhaps it would be wise to visit the lighthouses early in the morning …

The last hike we tackled today was the elbow.
In glorious weather we passed the northernmost point of Sylt and thus also the northernmost point of Germany.
A successful end to our holiday!
