Just love this walk. You can park next to the beach but you really are missing out if you don’t walk from the main road through the woods to the beach. Check the tide times if you want to hop over onto the island to see the lighthouse.
My dog loves the golden sand but check times of the year for being allowed on the beach.

Standing on the beach here, you can look across Caernarfon Bay to the peaks of Snowdonia in the distance. As the crow flies, you're only 15 miles (24 km) from the summit of Snowdon, so it's no wonder that you can see the National Park's stunning topography so clearly. The beach here is sandy and protected from westerly swells, so it's a lovely place for a paddle.

After yesterday, another short hike is planned today. The Saint Sand and Sea Trail is the one to follow, albeit a slightly shortened one. The conclusion in advance: The tour is an absolute hiking highlight!

Since it is windy and the sand is flying, we start our tour on the forest path and later turn to the beach. It's easy to walk on the wet sand. Shortly before the peninsula, rocks protrude from the sand, which the children are encouraged to climb on.

Took a trip out to Llanddwyn Island to see the famous Lighthouse...& cross.
We were a little unsure on the tide times, so downloaded an app.
But they display the daily low / high tide times at the car park.
