Camperdown Park

Highlight • Forest

Camperdown Country Park is the largest area of parkland in Dundee. It's 400-acres of parkland with the neo-classical Camperdown House as the centre piece. There is a great network of paths and trails around the park, perfect for a nice run to escape the city. The Dundee Parkrun is here at 9:30 every Saturday.

Camperdown Parkrun

Highlight • Rest Area

Camperdown Parkrun meets at 9:30 every Saturday for a fun and free 5km run. You can race if you want but the event is all about inclusion and most people run around chatting and having fun. Fully staffed by volunteers so say thanks and volunteer yourself if you can.
Grab a post run coffee at The Camperdown Wildlife Park Café to continue the social event.

Clatto Reservoir

Highlight • Lake

If you (also) enjoy running 🏃 around a body of water, chances are high that you'll like Clatto Country Park. It's smaller than e.g. Monikie- or Crombie Country Park, but closer to Dundee.

Clatto Reservoir

Highlight • Structure

Clatto Country Park on the northern fringe of Dundee is a large reservoir and areas of woodland. A network of paths circles the reservoir and wind through the woodland. The reservoir is a nice short loop and it's easy to make a longer walk by starting in Dundee or exploring the trails further.
The reservoir was constructed in 1874 to supply water to Dundee but it's no longer on the supply network.
