The site of the old Westthorpe Colliery. Quite a small area but pleasant enough for a stroll whatever the weather. Some of the pathways can get quite boggy after rain so suitable footwear would be recommended. There are a few benches scattered across the site.

Lots of wildlife can be observed and the woodland is tame enough to let younger ones go off exploring.
