Here, you will cross over from Northumberland into county Durham. The border sign is found at the side of a long stretch of road that stretches into the Pennines a few miles after Nenthead village. With stunning views over Black Hill and the beautiful Pennine hills, it is a spectacular county border. Northumberland is the UK's northernmost county and the final county of the Sea to Sea Cycle Route.
