August 13, 2023,Banchory to Aboyne on the Deeside Way (and back)

A fun route. This section does not follow the old railway line, unlike the rest of the Deeside Way. So there is a lot more ascent and descent. Some sections are a bit narrow as overgrown with bracken and nettles.
Plenty of opportunities to stop for a bite to eat. We lunched at Spider on a Bycicle Café in Aboyne.
