First time down Appendaun, very nice, certainly better than Dondella DH, it is very ruined and battered by the bumps from braking. Sporadic puddles of mud easily overcome. First time also up PianFieno climb to reach Uppendaun, shorter and at least twenty minutes faster than passing by Catalano, but definitely very steep, without stops you get to the top out …

Tough route on a wide but very impervious dirt road. 90% in the shade of beautiful woods that made you forget the 33° at 1000 m a.s.l. Beautiful views of the sea and two crossed roe deers.
The forts of the melogno cannot be visited because they are still a military area.
