St. Peter-Ording — Bad Center

Highlight • Settlement

In the “Bad” district, the actual center of St.Peter-Ording, numerous shops and street cafes invite you to stroll and linger. Events take place regularly on the newly designed spa promenade. The pier attracts with an open-air stage. There are adventure, play and relaxation areas for children along the promenade.
The impressive leisure and adventure pool “Dünentherme” offers an extensive wellness area and an attached health center.

It goes one kilometer over the pier to the North Sea beach in the Bad district. Alternatively, the beach can be reached on foot from Ording. Parking is possible in one of the parking spaces directly in the Bad-Zentrum, from there you can continue on foot. Barrier-free access to the beach is possible via the pier.
The pile-dwelling restaurant Arche Noah is located directly on the beach, with a connection to the pier and is also easily accessible for wheelchair users.
The beach is guarded and there are plenty of beach chairs in the sand or on one of the platforms

The regatta course for sand yachts and kite buggies begins south of the Bad bathing area. Regatta competitions can be watched here regularly throughout the year. There's plenty of space here. In the direction of the village it is the paradise of beach sailors - in the direction of Ording it is the kite buggy driver's paradise. The conditions are unique.

The stilt houses are a typical feature of the beach in St. Peter-Ording. New ones are currently being added, which are also designed to withstand future flooding. There are restrooms and restaurants with wonderful, sheltered (!) sea views.

St. Peter-Ording Pier

Highlight • Bridge

The pier is insane – probably the longest pier on the North Sea – at least I don't know of any longer ones. The surrounding landscape is a dream. It's even better when you reach the end of the pier and can bury your feet in the fine sand. That's when the real holiday feeling kicks in. Highly recommended.
