At this new vantage point across the Granetalsperre, these are such two-part moments... we only drove here a few weeks ago, there was no view yet. Now the trees are …

The Granetalsperre is always worth a trip, the paths all around are great! There are enough views of the dam and benches to linger. Just beautiful!

The Granetalsperre is great to cycle around. On one side it is paved and on the other side it goes mostly on good, wide forest paths with beautiful views of the dam.

A very good start to a 15km loop or 30km running loop. Simply go around the reservoir once for 15km and twice for 30km. You can't get lost.

There's a lot going on at the dam, hikers and 🚴‍♂️, well, with this weather, it's tempting almost everyone to get out. I wouldn't have thought there would be so many climbs, especially around the area. But it's very well-developed, with plenty of opportunities to leave the trail and hike or cycle up the mountains.

There isn't much to write here. A reservoir, you can go around it. Thank God I was here by bike, I wouldn't have liked it on foot. Too long, too sunny, not enough resin, too boring.

Komoot probably doesn't seem to understand that when you do two laps at the Granetalsperre and only record it once 🙄🙈

Nice round around a beautifully landscaped dam. Highly recommended for followers. 👍

A little holiday round after breakfast. Wasn't really worth unloading the bikes, but only actually! Because it was a nice lap, even if it was very short. The great view of the reservoir was very nice!

A nice tour, despite a slight loss of air in the rear wheel

Easy to drive route, you only have to push a section of 500 m between the Wolfshagen quarry and the reservoir. I'll have to find another route next time...

In front of the car park at the dam, follow the circular route counterclockwise for 12 km to the HWN 110 stamping point. Then follow the path on the right uphill for about 1.5km and then another 500m to the Bismarkturm HWN111. There you can enjoy the beautiful view of Goslar and the surrounding area. Downhill 1.2km to the Steinbergalm, …
