We started late in the morning at the Wimbachbrücke car park near Ramsau.
The path up to the Watzmannhaus is long and a bit demanding in the high summer temperatures, but the landscape is a real treat... here it's simple: the path is the destination.

The forest road to the Watzmannhaus is very steep and difficult to walk. Unfortunately, it is the longest stretch of the climb. Only one thing helps: go faster and get done!
