Baie de Locquirec

Highlight • Beach

This promontory offers a beautiful view of the beach of the bay and the campsite. The belvedere reveals the fantastic bay of Locquirec and will be totally different from one state of tide to another. With white sand, it is one of the longest beaches in the region and the Eurovelo 4 passes just behind.
At high tide, you can admire the sand and the sea; at low tide the sea is so far away that you can barely see it, instead you can marvel at the stretch of sand with beached boats.

Route de la Corniche

Highlight (Segment) • Other

A road with magnificent views that are worth it. Indeed, a lot of elevation, sometimes a bit nasty.

Dolmen dit Le Lit de Saint-Jean is the name of an old dolmen located in Guimaëc, in the Côtes-d'Armor department, in Brittany. It is also called "Jean's bed" or "Spinner's bed". In the past, many pilgrims, on the way to the pardon of Saint-Jean-du-Doigt, came to rub their backs against the frontal stone, reputed to prevent rheumatism

Île Blanche Manor

Highlight • Castle

The Île-Blanche estate is located on the edge of the corniche road linking Locquirec to Saint-Efflam (D64, then D42). Its direction is indicated on the left, just before the bridge over the Douron, almost opposite the rue de Toul an Héry.
Overlooking Porz Morvan cove, the Île-Blanche manor dates from the 17th century (1661), when the small port of Toul-an-Héry was flourishing.
Organized in a U-shape around a courtyard, all the buildings are built of rubble stone, a green-blue colored limestone schist, known as "Locquirec stone". The main buildings and outbuildings form several pavilions that extend to the rear of the property. The towers and roofs of the manor are covered with slate. Its construction would be inspired by an English castle offered by Henry VIII to the Archdiocese of Canterbury
