A nice little town. More normal than touristy. Except for the big cognac manufacturers, of course, whose visits are relatively expensive. We bought our cognac souvenir from a smaller producer directly at the winery. This works even without good language skills. In our experience, they are more happy when someone comes to them and are helpful.
