From Montegallo, an almost traffic-free road leads uphill. We pass individual farms. The mountains are always in the background.
At a junction, we turn onto a fine gravel track and follow it to the saddle. Here we only briefly cross poorer ground to the Strada Provinziale and enjoy the descent.
Small but beautiful.
