The Laufenbach in Monschau

The Laufenbach flows into the Rur in the old town of Monschau.
There are several mills and former cloth mills on the banks of the Laufenbach. The best-known buildings are the historic mustard mill from 1882, the representative residential building Haus Troistorff of the Troistorff cloth-making family and the Red House of the Scheibler family of cloth-makers.
