View from Monte Monaco

Highlight • Viewpoint

There are two ways up, from the west and east. I definitely recommend the ascent from the west as you walk in the shade in the morning, and you can then descend either from the east or west.

To get up to the top of Monte Monaco, started by bicycle, which was the parked at the first photo location and followed by the trail on foot.
There is a shorter path up, but its a bit more vertical.

-The path is narrow and bumpy. I mostly did it on foot with the bike on my back. Also because the tires on the rental bike were a bit worn out so I didn't have enough grip.
-Once you get to the top the view is so beautiful that you forget about the effort!! …

Ascent with ebike difficult with loose stones, 10% on foot, very technical descent with the usual stones, half on foot, initially dry shrubs with thorns, I recommend descending from the ascent route
