At the end of the week of touring in Matrei i.O. we make a detour to the Kals-Matreier-Törl before heading home in the afternoon. We mostly follow the signs up the Klauserberg. Once at the top, there is a magnificent panoramic view of the mountains of East Tyrol. Only the Großglockner is stubbornly shrouded in clouds.

The Innergschlöss was actually planned as the last tour of our East Tyrol week.
After a few kilometers and several meters of elevation gain, the hiking and cycling path was closed, almost without prior notice.
Only the busy Felbertauern road was open.
No thanks, so we returned to Matrei and searched for and found the path to the Kals Matreier …
