Oostburg Water Tower

There are five concrete reservoirs in the tower. The capacity of the reservoirs is 320m3, 715m3, 425m3, 325m3 and 375m3. The stairs run between the outer shell and the reservoirs.
The water tower is the second in Oostburg. The first water tower was destroyed during the war in 1944.
THE DROPS
In 1995, Johnny Beerens from Breskens was commissioned by the Municipality of Oostburg to provide the tower with a work of art. From a distance it appears as if large amounts of water are flowing from the building. In May/June 2014, the water tower was repainted and Johnny Beerens 'refreshed' his artwork.
