Schloss Thalheim

Würmla Palace

In a document in the 14th century a mansion of the Lords of Pain was mentioned. In a document, a castle was named as a sovereign fiefdom in 1365. 1523 owned by the Protestant Kornfail family. 1730 was a re-catholicization of the dominion under the nobles of Mayenberg. A new castle was built over a moated castle from the 16th century in 1894 according to the plans of the architect Johann Julius Romano Ritter vonringen. From 2000 to 2002 it was converted into apartments.
