Sheepwash Wooden Bridge

Highlight (Segment) • Bridge

Short section of bridleway that crosses the river Amber, it’s better suited for summer but it’s not completely unrideable in winter with the right tyres and there is a bridge in case you don’t want to get wet

Gregory Mine Chimney

Highlight • Structure

Gregory mine is an old Lead mine which appears to have been worked from the early 1700s and certainly continuously from 1734 to 1803.  In it's time it was one of the most productive Lead mines in Derbyshire.  Little currently remains of the original mine with the only structure still left standing being a chimney.

In its hay day the mine was said to have produced over 500 tonnes of ore a year and was very profitable.  However, towards the end of the 18th century the main vein was exhausted and despite the discovery of a new vein it's extraction was deemed not financially viable and the mine closed in 1803.

Steep Bridleway

Highlight • Climb

When exploring new trails a 'steep bridleway' sign is a most welcomed one. This trail is a short and fairly spicy. Nice technical singletrack with some smart corners to get your back end around. Highly recommend.

Vemon Lane Singletrack

Highlight • Trail

the single track starts off ok but then gets very hard as you get past the two river crossings, the track is very over grown and very loose making it unridable and having to walk up, if you start at the top be very careful as there is a few surprise drops along the way

Vernon Lane Trail

Highlight • Trail

The trail start off nice bit rocky so pick your line. But after the two river crossings things get very extreme. Very rocky steep climbing made harder with lose rocks and a very overgrown trail. Things got so bad we had to walk the rest of it. If you go down hill from the top off trail take caution as there are some vary bad bits what can catch you out
