Roman Road Descent, Peak District National Park

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

One of my favourite climbs in the Hope. Techy in places, steady incline, slippy when wet, dreamy when dry!

View of Snake Pass

Highlight • Viewpoint

Stunning views from the top up and down the snake pass. Technical descent down potato alley from here big rocks, gravel, mud, very tricky, then beautiful trail along the dam through woodlands.

Super fun and fast descent, equally as good (not as fast) to climb. Mega views, nice wide bridleway.

4

6.78 km

Beautiful woodland single track trail. It's a climb into the woods and then flattens out through the trees before another climb up and out.

Tip by

5

7.49 km

Beautiful woodland trails up the hillside with some great views down to the reservoir.

8.55 km

Derwent Reservoir and Dam

Highlight • Viewpoint

Lots of options to suite all abilities. Parking can be a problem when busy, so for the best experience and sometimes the entire place to yourself, head there out of peak hours and days.

11.7 km

Win Hill Woodland Descent

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

This is a cracking little descent that is not rocky but can be slippy in the mud and has a couple of sudden fast downhills. Nothing technical but fun. Spits …
