Please note the section between Rewsall's Lane and Church Lane is impassable due to mile or so breach in seawall!

Nice walk around Mersea Island, we started in the Cudmore Grove Country Park Car Park and walked anti-clockwise which I think made the walk easier as the coastal erosion issues were at the end of our walk.

The paths are clear and mainly grassy sea defense mounds. Parts of the route are muddy but nothing more than slow walking while …
