June 22, 2024,Brigham, Broughton Bridge, Derwent and Papcastle - Swifts, Sand Martins and Sandpipers
A sunny afternoon walk out through Brigham to Broughton Bridge. We then returned by the path along the north bank of the River Derwent to Papcastle and finally over Derwent Bridge into Cockermouth. We saw lots of Swifts, Sand Martins, Grey Wagtails, Common Sandpiper, Herons and Oystercatchers.
