The Sitting Room Café, Saltburn-by-the-Sea

Highlight • Cafe

Lovely little Cafe close to the Station in Saltburn. Gorgeous cakes and lovely coffee, plus a selection of savouries. Great place to re-fuel after a long bike ride.

Saltburn Pier

Highlight • Monument

Beautiful little seaside town with plenty of things to do. Both the number one cycle route and the Cleveland Way run through here. There's also a few nice little walking routes around the Italian gardens and the beach walk down to neighbouring Marske is well worth a shot. There's parking down next to the pier but I would recommend parking in the town centre, most places are free, then walking from there. The town centre has a few good cafes, restaurants and bars which are all pretty good and there's a great fish and chip shop down on the seafront which has both a large seated restaurant and a takeaway window – get there early as it gets packed.
