Saint-Hippolyte Church

This church, built at the end of the 11th century in the Cluniac Romanesque style, has been extensively remodeled over the centuries. The nave is preceded by a narthex, on the left of which opens a baptistery, very rare in the Lévis region.

The building is topped by a square 15th-century bell tower adorned with a modillion cornice. A carved wooden pulpit from the late 16th century and a Baroque high altar in carved and gilded wood from the early 17th century constitute quality furnishings. A beautiful statuette from the 15th or 16th centuries depicts the Virgin Mary receiving instruction from Saint Anne. The Stations of the Cross (14 paintings by J. Missé, a contemporary sculptor) are also featured.
