Taufenscharte–Mutspitze Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

It goes over block work, sometimes along the steep slope, for people with fear of heights and in wet weather rather unfavorable due to the risk of slipping.

Beautiful hike from the Hochmuth mountain station to the Spronser lakes. Refreshments at the Oberkaseralm on the Kaserlacke.
The route climbs steadily, initially through the forest and later in the blazing sun over paths that are sometimes ugly - but the view of the Spronser lakes makes up for the effort.
