Okay hike. Not that relaxed to walk if you ask me: Many of the roads have lose stones, there were many bugs, grass was so tall it slaps you in the face..

Super nice hike to the well-known Monte Mottarone (1491 m) which rises above Stresa on the west side of Lake Maggiore. Beautiful and strenuous climb, very touristy when you get to the top, parking spaces right up to the summit... but still a good view of Lake Maggiore.
