Classic tourist stopping place on the Veluwe, but a wonderful place to stop on one of the many terraces for a coffee or something stronger, and then to cycle (further) in many directions.

Gravel is enormously popular, but what actually is gravel? Where does gravel begin? And from when can you no longer call something gravel?

Commissioned by Schwalbe, Douwe and I are heading out to explain the essence of gravel in our Low Countries. From tight and fast to rough and playful.

Route of @Gijs Bruinsma - routemeester cycled today! After signing the Gravel Code, it was in the mailbox. A gravel bike and a mountain bike. Fine to do but in the beginning a lot of asphalt, until you cross the main road again after 10 km.

Party pace gravel ride after Christmas in honor of the reopening of the Crown Domains. Nice ride on varied paths. Concluded with a lunch at 't Loo.
