Ynysfaen Campsite

Ynysfaen is a small quiet and peaceful campsite cited along the Usk river, nestled in the Brecon Beacons. We have grass pitch camping, camper van / tent camping electric pitches, a shepherds hut and a bell tent, both fully furnished with separate kitchens. Free heated electric showers, toilets and washing up area along with use of a fridge freezer. We allow open fires and dogs on pre approval. We are two miles away from the Usk reservoir and Pen Y Fan is a quick 15 minute drive away along with the black mountain range too. We’d love to welcome you to Ynysfaen.

Usk Reservoir is a remote 280-acre reservoir below the Black Mountain. Popular for walking, cycling and the reservoir is regarded as offering the best still water trout fishing in Wales.

The best time to visit here is at sunset, when most people have headed home.
