From Piran via Portoroche a great hike with wonderful sea views.

I escaped from the cold and the rain of the Kamnik mountains so i ended up doing this tour around Pisan and i was delighted by it. Not only the weather was great and warm, but as well the landscape are wonderful (coastal trail, salines, olive trees...) and the city really nice, it is very famous and i can understand …
The tour was based on the "blue" tour of the Piran circular routes. Very nice views from the cliffs of Strunjan. At the end, unfortunately, a short distance on the street around the Salinera Apartments.
Highly recommended.

From Portoroz past the former salt warehouses to Portoroz, then over the Parenzana through the tunnel to Strunjan.
Past the cliffs, then through the salt pans along the promenade to Piran.
Walked along the old city wall, great view of Piran. Another 🍻 in the Theater Cafe, then back to the hotel for a sundowner.

Today we started again in the other direction along the coast. Tomorrow we will continue towards Ljubljana.

Kilometers for the body, sun & sea for the soul 🥰
We walked 19 km and not 20.7 km.
The GPS jumped three times on the tour and added a few meters 😂
Dear GPS, the altitude up and down doesn't match, it was realistically 300 to 350 …

The section along the cliffs between Piran and Strunjan at the very end of the hike is particularly beautiful. I can only recommend taking enough time …

Today, on the other side of the bay in Slovenia, walk around part of the headland.
Very, very beautiful old town of Piran and a path along the steep cliffs with an indescribably clear sea It's a shame if you don't have swimming trunks with you. But now .... 🏊‍♂️ 👋
