Interesting: Around 200 meters of the Sauer cycle path between Metzdorf and Wintersdorf is "elevated" to protect the valuable wetland. The 336 meter drive through the illuminated Ralingen Tunnel is also impressive, the varied nature is worth experiencing, Bollendorf Castle, built in 1619 - once the summer residence of the former Echternach Abbey.

Konrad Schubach Bridge over the Sauer River

In 1952, Konrad Schubach became district administrator in Bitburg.
