Bad Liebenzell Castle

Highlight • Castle

Bad Liebenzell is a spa town. The highlights are the castle and the Monbach valley.

Wide side road with a good surface, parallel to the train station. There is usually less traffic here, so you can easily avoid Bad Liebenzell.

As a nice bonus, you can always catch a glimpse of Liebenzell Castle and the Nagold between the trees

Nagold Valley Cycle Path

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Beautifully paved bike path, always along the Nagold and very suitable to avoid a piece of the B 463.

The approx. 4 km long descent or the ascent is great to drive on very good asphalt.
It's really fun ........!

Winding Road Between Neuhausen and Schellbronn

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

The immaculate surface makes it almost effortless to cycle here. It's a gentle climb from Neuhausen.

Off-peak, it's not particularly busy and there's plenty of room for safe overtaking.

The only drawback: The former bike path next to it has been exempted from mandatory use (thanks in part to Natenom) and is therefore, strictly speaking, now a pedestrian-only path, but not everyone realizes this (or doesn't want to admit it). Nevertheless, it still occasionally leads to conflicts with drivers who would rather see you on this bumpy track than on the road. That's why I often prefer to cycle to Schellbronn via Hamberg. It's a small detour, but you get complete peace and quiet!

St. Urban and Vitus Parish Church

Highlight • Religious Site

The Church of St. Urban and Vitus, built between 1521 and 1523, replaced a medieval fortified church, remnants of whose fortifications still remain. The building, situated on an artificially raised plateau, houses various art treasures as well as numerous graves and epitaphs, including those of members of the von Gemmingen family. The organ, dating from 1779, is the work of the organ builder Joseph Martin. Originally built for the Franciscan monastery in Oeffingen, it was sold to Neuhausen in 1810 and restored in the 1980s.
