Just love this route it has a wee bit of everything and ideal for my late start due to it tipping down this morning. I took the road into Aviemore and got myself on to the Old Loggers Way and peeled off onto the track to Loch an Eilein and then around the loch. The tracks are all pretty good …

Awesome route. We started from Coylumbridge and followed the old logging trail to Loch Morlich. Then up to Ryovan Bothy on smooth gravel. It's quite busy with walkers and cyclists between Glenmore and the Bothy. Fewer people continue on the other side towards Boat of Garten. Look out for osprey at Loch Garten (sadly we didnt see any).
