Quite a violent start 2.5km 300D+ and 2.5km descent but no difficulty because concrete track to the Abbey.
The Abbey has been made of rough stone for 1000 years, nothing magnificent but pure natural.
A must-see on foot by bike, be careful it's uphill (gravel mountain bike).

After a somewhat steep ascent we reached the Abbey of Saint-Martin du Canigou, which is still run by Benedictines today. Located in the middle of the mountains, we had a guided tour by Sister Gabriela, who told us about life and work in the order. The descent (unfortunately forgot to turn Komoot on again 🙈😏) was a little more relaxed
