This is certainly a contrasting tour of coastline and countryside. I absolutely enjoyed the ruggedness of the Route towards Weissenhaüser Strand with its natural landscape and sand dunes. The Seebrücke pier was also enjoyable, in which I could have sat for hours and appreciate the surroundings and the golden sandy beaches. On the way out and back we passed through …

The section along the Baltic Sea between Strandstrasse (Weissenhäuser Strand) and the Platen campsite is barely passable. We were touring with a trailer for babies and had to push the car along some stretches of beach. We had to be really careful. That wasn't good. Not a representative route for Komot. Borderline!!!
